I'm currently planning on picking up the DLC this next coming Tuesday / Wednesday (give things a week for some bug fixes and such), but whenever I read through that large Balance Pass manual, I just feel less and less inclined to do so. So I'm asking how overall, with just a few days post adjustments, everybody's feeling about things? I haven't purchased this DLC as yet and I generally have a hard time writing a review of any game just because a full review seems to want to include your initial take, your in depth forayt for the first few weeks or months, and the post wonder runs where a little cynicism / objectivity has attached itself. However, there are just as many people that come in at a hardline, outraged angle that seems to immediately provoke the die hard supporters and also folks that are perhaps just a bit better balanced in their mindsets when it comes to receiving these changes. There's a number of other things that have built this up and from what I can tell via other threads that breach this topic feature folks that feel the same way.

Stuns seem to have been completely nerfed to such an extent that I don't think I would take them on any class, even the Plague Doctor with a stun specific build. Now, I follow that monsters and heroes alike took hits, but that doesn't exactly even out. Overall, it seems most of the changes - with the general exception of crits (and not always) - were downgrades of classes abilities. I feel like quite a bit of excitement and joy has been aired out of me like a helium baloon that took a ballista bolt dead center. I've been looking forward to the 'Colour of Madness' as something new and because I figured some kind of balance pass would be introduced, but I have to admit, I'm a little. Lovecraft & (my own personal fave) Clark Ashton Smith. Just a host of other games that reached out to me and drew me in, even while I held on to my love for this game if for nothing else than style and some of the nostalgia trips it induced - late night D&D sessions and all the fun of re-reading the classics of H.P. So, firstly, it's been a while since I really last played ' Darkest Dungeon'.
